About Sydney Nimble Tours

Sydney Nimble Tours offers fully private day tours from Sydney for groups of one to four guests. No shared groups, no fixed script, no rushing between stops. Each tour is shaped around the people on it — their pace, their interests, and what they want to take away from the day.

Greg founded the business in 2018. Since then Sydney Nimble Tours has run hundreds of private tours across the Blue Mountains, Royal National Park, Northern Beaches, the South Coast and inner Sydney.

Greg

Greg grew up at Bronte Beach and has spent his life on and around the Sydney coastline. A keen surfer from an early age, he has an instinctive feel for the coastal landscapes that shape so many of the tours — the headlands, the rock platforms, the exposed clifftop tracks where the swell comes in from the south.

That familiarity extends well beyond the shoreline. Greg has hiked extensively across Australia and overseas, and brings a practical, experienced eye to every walk — knowing which trails reward the effort, where to stop, and how to read the conditions on the day.

His knowledge covers the geology and rock formations of the Blue Mountains and Royal National Park, the wildlife and birdlife of both parks, coastal ecology, and the history of the places and communities visited along the way. He has guided hundreds of tours across all of these landscapes and still finds things worth pointing out on tracks he has walked many times.

Greg is also a keen photographer. Throughout the day he takes candid shots of guests at scenic locations — nothing posed. These are lightly edited and sent through after the tour.

Ann Maree

Ann Maree is an experienced guide with a deep love of the Australian outdoors. A keen hiker and paddleboarder, she has explored landscapes across Australia and overseas and brings that firsthand experience to every tour she leads.

How the tours work

Every tour begins with a conversation — by email before the day — about what you want from the experience. Your interests, your pace, how much walking suits you, anything you particularly want to see. The itinerary is built around that.

Lunch is freshly prepared and included in every full-day tour. Pick-up and drop-off is door to door from your Sydney accommodation. There are no strangers added to the group and no fixed departure times. It is a private day out, organised around you.
